OMIC Dues Structure

The Oregon Metals Industry Council (OMIC) provides may valuable benefits to its members.

  • Board meetings, every other month, that include briefings on current issues of concern and quality speakers who are leaders and decision makers in their fields.
  • Representation at the Oregon Legislature and before local and state regulatory agencies on issues that are unique to the metals industry or of particular importance to the industry.
  • Access to research data related to the economic impact of the metals industry in Oregon.
  • Coalition-building and liaison with other business groups that have common interests with OMIC such as Associated Oregon Industries (AOI) and Industrial Customers of Northwest Utilities (ICNU).
  • Public relations activities designed to promote the image of the metals industry in Oregon.
  • Monitoring of federal legislative and regulatory issues and liaison with Oregon’s congressional delegation.
  • Board Subcommittees that tackle detailed issues related to taxation, the environment and workforce.
